Spike Picks Up Oliver Peck's Ink Master For a Second Season.
Next week, the first season of Spike TV's reality tattoo competition series Ink Master, which features Dallas' own Oliver Peck as one of its judges, will see its highly entertaining first eight-episode run come to an end, with competitors Shane, Tommy and James competing for $100,000 cash prize awarded to the winner. Who will win remains up in the air (we're picking Tommy), but this much is certain: The show will return to Spike for a second season next year.
That much was confirmed earlier this month in the trades, along with the news that next year's season will be extended to a 13-episode run. Now, though, we can confirm this much as well: Elm Street tattoo proprietor Peck, who we interviewed immediately after the series' debut episode, will return as a judge in the second season as well.
Said Peck when we caught up with him earlier this week: “I'm excited!”
Big surprise.
