Seminal El Paso Outfit At The Drive-In Announces A Dallas Reunion Performance.
Just now and after implying as much by teasing fans with a rather cryptic image for the past week or so, seminal El Paso post-hardcore outfit At The Drive-In — who split up in 2001 only to see its members later form The Mars Volta, Sparta, Sleepercar and various other solo outfits — announced a last-minute performance to take place tomorrow night at Trees in Dallas. The show comes as part of a four-date Texas warm-up tour before the band performs its long-announced show at Coachella next weekend.
No, this is not a hoax. And, yes, that's quite a small room for such a revered act.
In other words: You better act fast if you want in.
Tickets are on sale right here, right now. Act fast, you guys.
Seriously, go.
Update: Actually, don't bother. We just confirmed with Tactics Productions, who are co-promoting this show with Austin's Transmission Entertainment, that the tickets sold out in seven minutes. Hope you guys got yours!
