Battlestar Galactica Stars Top Early List of Dallas Sci-Fi Expo 2013 Confirms.

Battlestar Galactica fans have a lot to be thankful for at the moment.

For one thing, there's the fact that the producers behind the show are currently producing an online miniseries prequel to the show called Blood & Chrome, which focuses on a young William Adama's efforts as a young fighter in the First Cylon War. And there's the fact that Syfy plans on airing that same miniseries as a TV movie in 2013.

Then there's this: Three of the show's central characters will be in town on February 9 and 10 at the Irving Convention Center for the Dallas Sci-Fi Expo.

Tickets aren't even available yet for the 2013 version of this annual affair, but that hasn't stopped the folks behind SFX from announcing today that Battestar Edward James Olmos (William Adama), Tricia Helfer (Caprica 6) and James Callis (Gaius Baltar) will be among the celebrity guests in attendance next year. Other actors already confirmed to attend include Kevin Sorbo (Hercules), Andrew McCarthy (Pretty in Pink), Morena Baccarin (Firefly, V, Homeland), Bruce Boxleitner and Cindy Morgan (Tron), Laurie Holden (The Walking Dead) and Avery Brooks (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine).
