Determining Dallas Hip-Hop's Best Rappers, Projects and New Artists of 2014.
Last week, radio show Live From The Underground hosts JayWil and Rollo gathered some of Dallas' top hip-hop influencers to discuss the genre's elite efforts of the year.
With an impressive panel that included KG (Cosign Magazine), Chan-Lo (Chan-Lo.com), Rodney Blu (Local Over Everything), Pat (NasaGang), Lee Escebedo (Thrwd), H. Drew Blackburn (Dallas Observer), Rico Slice (K104, You Heard That New), M-Saw (IRAs), and Antonio Hall, the ensuing round table discussion broke down this year's Best New Artists, Best Projects and Best Rappers/Groups.
Some of the determining criteria included — but were hardly limited to – Twitter followers, media placements and live performances. After some heated, caught-on-video discussion, the final selections were agreed upon and listed below for your perusal.
