Check Out Usher, Ludacris and David Guetta's New Play-N-Skillz-Penned Pop Anthem.
By now, Dallas production duo Play-N-Skillz is rather used to collaborating with big names, having earned Grammy awards for past efforts featuring the likes of Lil Wayne, T-Pain and Chamillionaire. But the Salinas' brothers' latest collaboration may just be their most star-studded effort to date.
The latest effort in their continued progression out of traditional hip-hop and into a more electronic-oriented realm finds the twosome penning a song for Ludacris' upcoming Ludaversal release that reunites Luda with his “Yeah” collaborator Usher and reunites Usher with his “Without You” collaborator David Guetta. And, to be sure, the track is about as poppy an anthem as all that would imply, coming across like as much of a surefire radio hit as anything Play-N-Skillz have been associated with in the past.
Sure, the lyrics are a little lacking, but the overall tone is charming enough in that high-school-graduation kind of way — a sentiment that's only confirmed by the song's “Rest of My Life” title and refrain.
So check it out below and have a great summer, you guys!
