Wanna Be Our Intern? Cool, 'Cause We're Looking!

Well, it's happening again: We're dying from the heat, we're getting real ornery and, worse, we're suddenly realizing that our summer interns are about to chunk up deuces on their times spent working by our sides.

Yeah, this time of year is pretty much the worst.

But especially so this year, as our interns this summer have been particularly kickass. In addition to other contributions made to the cause these past few months, Diamond Victoria and Evan Henry have earned more than 40 combined bylines between them over the course of their internships with us.

Among some of their more memorable contributions? Interviews with rock stars and filmmakers, breaking music news, reviewing (and photographing) concerts, profiling some of the most interesting people in town, going viral, getting into the swing of things and dropping taco knowledge.

So, yeah, they learned some tricks of the trade, we'd say. And we're going to miss both them and the gaping holes they're leaving behind in our arsenal like crazy.

But, hey, maybe you're up to the challenge of filling their shoes? If so, good news: We're currently seeking interns for the fall semester. Ideal candidates are currently in school, experienced in blogging and/or social media, and able to receive course credit in exchange for their time spent working with us. For this coming term, we're seeking writing, photography, graphic design and marketing interns.
