Soaking Up The Sun At Surprise Stadium With The Texas Rangers.

Since I happened to be in Phoenix last week — and right in the middle of spring training, no less — I just had to stop by a ballpark and catch a game. Great decision. A $20 ticket put me right on the right field line, and in front row, even.

How can you beat that? You can't.

The Rangers-Diamondbacks game itself was pretty rough, though. Lots of errors and mis-steps by both teams. Still, it's fun seeing these guys in stadiums that are a fifth of the size of their normal ones.

I mean, Justin Upton could actually hear me heckling him from the right field wall. That's worth the price of admission alone.
