For Five Years, Plater Hater Has Been Exposing and Mocking North Texas Vanity License Plates.

Apparently, people are still doing things on Tumblr beyond reblogging art and porn or writing posts that are the very inverse of Tea Party logic. This is a good thing, too, because we're all truly blessed to have PlaterHater dot tumblr dot com in our lives.

Plater Hater began in January 2010 with a post — one simple, glorious post — that featured a picture of a license plate from Illinois. Read that plate: BLK FOX.

Five years later, Plater Hater is still going strong, even though the blog isn't quite a giant success that garners hundreds of likes and reblogs per post. This, err, vanity project of vanity licence plate pics snapped predominantly throughout the North Texas area is mostly just a neat little gem. But it's a highly effective one.
