A Group Of Women-Hating Pick-Up Artists Is Planning Secret Meet-Ups In Dallas And Denton.

If the name Daryush Valizadeh — or Roosh V, as he's more commonly known in the pick-up artist world — doesn't immediately ring any bells, then maybe “that misygonstic asshole that wrote that blog about how raping women should be legal when done on private property” sounds a bit more instantly familiar?

Somehow this despicable creepster has amassed something of a following for himself online, as evidenced by the fact that, on this coming Saturday, February 6, his backwards-ass followers have organized semi-covert meetups in 165 cities in 43 countries, two of which are right here in North Texas.

*Update: All meetups for February 6 have been cancelled due to safety concerns. Writes Roosh V on his blog: “I can no longer guarantee the safety or privacy of the men who want to attend on February 6, especially since most of the meetups can not be made private in time. While I can’t stop men who want to continue meeting in private groups, there will be no official Return Of Kings meetups. The listing page has been scrubbed of all locations. I apologize to all the supporters who are let down by my decision.”

Between 8 and 8:20 p.m., “tribesmen” are instructed to meet up in places like “the old school phone booth In front of British Beverage Company” in Dallas and “beside the little arch” on the Denton Square. From there, they've been told to suss out their fellow anti-feminists by asking one another “Do you know where I can find a pet shop?” and replying “Yes, it's right here” when asked that question by another. Then, at exactly 8:20 p.m., someone will emerge and lead all these pet shop boys to a second location where the real, surely enlightened, meeting will occur.

Despite these efforts to stay under the radar — a few cities have made even their primary locations secret now, accessible only after one emails proof that they've either purchased one of Roosh V's books or previously left a comment on his blog — counter-protest gatherings have already been organized in many of these cities in response. In Denton, for instance, a counter group is planning to gather at the tiny arch to make their presence felt. And, for their part, the Denton PD have tweeted that they are aware of the meetup and are prepared to take action if things get out of hand.

Similarly, the Dallas PD tells Central Track that it is “aware” of the gathering, and that it has “dedicated personnel to monitor the situation.”

For anyone planning on attending these rallies in a disruptive manner, it's important to note that Roosh V has instructed his douche-mob of devotees to “[r]ecord [the disruptors] with your camera, upload the footage to Dropbox, and then send it to me at [email protected] afterwards so we can tear them up.”

Do with that info what you will.
