With summer in full swing and temperatures hitting 100+, my usual hate of beer is waning. After a long day at work or out on the lake, even a beer hater like me can appreciate a fresh-cracked cold one. Deep Ellum Brewing Company knows this, and they take full advantage of it by inviting us out on a hot summer friday to celebrate one of the most refreshing local beers on the market, so grab your beer drinking buddy and set off for a good night.
Dallas Blonde Birthday Bash at Katy Trail Ice House/Outpost (Dallas/Plano). First, props to DEBC for throwing not just one party, but two. Both Katy Trail Ice House (Dallas) and Katy Outpost (Plano) will be hosting the birthday bashes, complete with swag, commemorative glasses and, of course, birthday cake. These parties have been great each of the last three years, always packed with revelers and you’re pretty much guaranteed to have a good time. Even if you or your person doesn’t love beer, you can discreetly order anything else from the Katy menus. I personally love the frozen sangria marg, just be prepared for a couple weird looks from DEBC-devotees. Plus their food is pretty decent, so you don’t even have to make an extra stop to round out your night. Sometimes the best nights out are the simplest ones, so enjoy!
Cheers!
