Thirteen Must-See Shows Hitting North Texas Thanks To ACL.
This coming weekend marks the return of the two-week-long music marathon known as the Austin City Limits music festival.
This year's affair promises plenty of action, too: In addition to boasting some of the biggest festival headliners of the year, artists on the rise and everything in between, ACL is this year bringing back its popular Late Night Shows, which keep the party going when the lights at go out at Zilker Park. And with so many ACL-sponsored events being held on the daily, let it be known: Peace and quiet will be hard to come by in Austin these next few weeks.
But by no means is the fun of ACL limited to those city limits alone. As we've seen in years past, the overflowing lineup of the festival can't help but spill over into North Texas, too.
This year is no different, with a baker's dozen of shows in the Dallas area over this stretch also set to feature more than 20 of the festival's must-see musicians. Only now, thanks in part to ACL's expansion, these spill-off shows here in Dallas are also consistently spread out as well — meaning that you're able to catch more artists at your own leisure than you ever would be under the blistering sun of a crowded festival.
