Photos From Our Four-Month Anniversary Jam At The Double Wide.
So we had a party. It was on a Sunday, but you wouldn't know that being at the Double Wide yesterday. It looked like a Saturday night. We had a lot of fun — and it looks like you all did too.
How about those bands we had play? They were all really awesome. Each set had a pretty packed room. It was a real diverse bill, we know, but it worked. Plus, it's way more fun to hear a lot of different stuff.
Blue from Brain Gang kicked things off with a real hype set. There was some moshing, lots of dancing and plenty of party going on. You should catch Brain Gang opening for Schoolboy Q on the 30th of June. They'll be on the bill with just about every awesome Dallas hip-hop act.
Analog Rebellion followed, Hunter doing his “stadium lo-fi” thing. Jaws dropped, toes tapped. There was dancing. Dude's just got great energy on stage. It's always a good show.
Quaker City Night Hawks finished up the night. If you haven't seen them live yet, go do so immediately. They are fantastic. It's impossible not to shake your ass while they are playing.
More important, though? We want to send out a huge thanks to all of you who came our and partied with us. We'll have to do it again. Soon.
