Dallas Rapper Big Chief Teams Up With Z-Ro and Big Boi On Latest Single.

Last February, Dallas rapper Big Chief, long one of the most respected street-inclined rappers in the city, made headlines for announcing that he had been signed to Cash Money record.

The announcement was a little suspect to say the least, and, a year and a half later, Chief's got nothing to show for it. Well, nothing except for this track called “Already Cash Money,” which finds Chief seemingly slam the New Orleans-based, Drake-, Nicki Minaj- and Lil Wayne-supporting label and implying that he's over the deal and better off for it anyway.

Considering that his latest leaked single, “Big Boi Shit,” includes features from favorite Houston son Z-Ro and superstar Atlanta rhymeslinger Big Boi, we're inclined to agree with the fact that Big Chief is hanging in there OK.

Maybe better than OK, actually: The song comes from Chief's upcoming Eat Greedy, Vol. 15 mixtape. You read that right. It's his fifteenth mixtape release — just in this series.

Man. That's some kind of grind you're on, Chief.
