Remembering The Lives Of Rompers, Bronies, Seapunk, Overly Attached Girlfriend And Flavored Vodka.

Each week, dozens of memes, trends and pop culture items die quiet, unceremonious deaths. We'd like to publicly give these dead trends the proper memorials they deserve.

Then, we kindly request that we never speak of them again.

Overly Attached Girlfriend
Overly Attached Girlfriend, born June 6, 2012, passed away on September 1, 2012 after being mobbed by a group of UNT students on a back-to-school shopping trip. After the initial incident on August 29, she managed to hang on tightly to life for several days. She will be remembered as an extremely devoted daughter, sister and, above all, girlfriend. Overly Attached Girlfriend was preceded in death by Crazy Girlfriend Praying Mantis. She is survived by Glad Cling Wrap, and a boyfriend who refuses to publicly acknowledge the relationship. In lieu of flowers the family asks “Who the fuck is Flowers?”

Rompers
Rompers, born in 2006, had her life cut short on September 2, 2012. Throughout her brief existence, she encouraged all who knew her to hold on to their childlike wonderment, almost to a fault. Still, her youthful energy was a positive example to us all. May she rest in [one] piece. Rompers is preceded in death by her father Adult Onesies, mother Footie Pajamas and younger sister Harem Pants. She is survived by a grandmother, Depends.

Seapunk
Born to parents @LILINTERNET and @LILGOVERNMENT in June 2011, Seapunk washed up on September 4, 2012. Seapunk was preceded in death by Steam Punk and Witch House. He is survived by an uncle, Based Music, and a twin brother, #WaveRave. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you keep your money, further adding that, like the ocean, flowers cannot be packaged and sold.

Whipped Cream Vodka
Whipped Cream Vodka, 2, passed away on September 2, 2012, after being shot. She was a sweet daughter and sister with a personality that allowed her to blend well with all those who knew her. Whipped Cream Vodka is preceded in death by her grandmother Woo Girls, her mother Appletinis, her father Bacon Vodka and her older brother Jager Bombs. She is survived by her grandfather Vodka Red Bull and her brother Sweet Tea Vodka. Following the memorial services, a brief mixer will be held for family and friends.

Bronies
Bronies, 3, went out to pasture on September 1, 2012. Through his willingness to fit into any crowd, Bronies found a fire of friendship among a wide array of herds. One of his great joys was spreading the message that friendship is, indeed, magic. Bronies was preceded in death by a mare, TransformHers, and a stallion, PokeMen. He is succeeded by a colt, Strawberry Short Cake Boys.
