Remembering The Lives of Bacon, Doritos Locos Tacos, Skrillex Haircuts and Some Favorite Memes.

Each week, dozens of memes, trends and pop culture items die quiet, unceremonious deaths.

After weeks and even months of riding waves of buzz, countless news stories, hours of water cooler talk and being known as the “in” thing, they eventually reach a breaking point.

Though their life spans are always unpredictable, there ultimately comes a point when the posting of a dead meme on our Facebook wall becomes a crime worthy of instant defriending.

To avoid these uncomfortable moments, we'd like to publicly give these dead trends the proper memorials they deserve.

Then, we kindly request that we never speak of them again.

Some Ecards
Some Ecards passed away on July 21, 2012 at the age of 5. It was born on April 18, 2007. It loved using preset black and white illustrations on solid colored backgrounds, suffered frequent bouts of sarcasm and boasted an overtly egotistical attitude that allowed it to comment on social traits and pop culture events.

It was preceded in death by its twin, Your Ecards, as well as it's father Socially Awkward Penguin, aunt Advice Dog and uncle Courage Wolf. It is survived by its son, The E*Trade Baby, and its distant cousin, Evites. The family has asked that you check your inboxes for funeral information.

Bacon
After a long battle with oversaturation and clogged arteries, Bacon died peacefully in its sleep on July 23, 2012. He was a loving food item equally satisfied with being known primarily as a breakfast side item early in his life. Later in life, he enjoyed spending time with everyone from burgers to salads. But it wasn't until the “Bacon is good for me” catchphrase uttered by “King” Curtis on a 2009 episode of ABC's Wifeswap caught on that Bacon became a true celebrity.

In the years just before his death, he enjoyed several marriage proposals, had his image printed on popular clothing items and enjoyed public flings with milkshakes and candy. Preceded in death by his mother Ranch Dressing, Bacon is survived in death by his son, Sriracha rooster sauce. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Jack in the Box.

Doritos Locos Tacos
Doritos Locos Tacos departed this life on July 19, 2012. He was born March 8, 2012. Though he only spent a brief time in this life, his parents Nacho Cheese Doritos and Crunchy Taco say his free-spirited ways had a lasting impact on all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, The KFC Famous Bowl. He is survived by his cousin, Sonic Chili Cheese Fritos Coney, and his children, Diarrhea and Regret.

Condescending Wonka
Condescending Wonka, 2, was born in 2010 and passed away on July 24, 2012. He was known to be creepy, patronizing and often haughty. Despite this, he was well-liked by most of his family and friends, including his high school classmates, the advice animals, and his father, One Does Not Simply Walk Into Mordor, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by an adopted son, Skeptical African Child. In lieu flowers, the family asks “Oh, you read the obituaries?” before adding, “Your life must be really interesting.”

Skrillex Haircuts
Skrillex Haircuts entered eternal rest this week after a long battle with overexposure. It was born June 7, 2010. After winning a trio of Grammy awards earlier this year, the hairstyle inspired many spinoffs and Internet memes before eventually starting its own side project.

Skrillex Haircuts was preceded in death by its father, the Reznor Cut, and is survived by its brother, the Win Butler cut, and daughter, the Sarah Jaffe Cut. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the charities Locks of Love and Friends Don't Let Friends Get Friends Haircuts.
