Scenes From Saturday Night's Somebody's Darling Homecoming at the Granada Theater.
After a couple weeks of touring the East Coast in their van Grace, Dallas alt-country powerhouse Somebody's Darling returned to town on Saturday night for what would end up — both in name and sentiment — serving as something of a homecoming gig for the outfit.
As part of a stacked triple-bill at the Granada Theater that also featured local favorites Quaker City Night Hawks and Goodnight Ned, Somebody's Darling offered up an especially revelry-filled set. Capping off an already warm showcase, the band's set closed with members of Goodnight Ned and similarly inclined Dead Flowers joining the five-piece for a good ol' fashioned end-of-night singalong.
If it looks fun, that's because it was.
