Scenes from Danielle Georgiou and Justin Locklear's One-Night Pizzicatto Porno Performance.
If you've been looking, Danielle Georgiou's been easy enough to spot this month.
To kick things off, the director of the UT Arlington Dance Ensemble and artist-in-residence at UTD's CentralTrak Artist Residency appeared as a featured dancer in Ishi's new “Disco Queen” video, which premiered on Under The Radar's site at the top of the month. And, yesterday, less than a week after that debut, she held shop in a loft at the Ro2 Art Downtown Projects at 110 N. Akard Street to perform a one-night multimedia performance piece called “Pizzicatto Porno” alongside her collaborator, actor Justin Locklear, for a captivated audience.
Photographer Karlo X. Ramos was on hand to capture the performance, which incorporated elements of video, dance and acting into its long, hard, introspective and interpretive look at the ups and downs of a relationship, and he left with some gorgeous pics and rave reviews. Check out Karlo's shots from the performance below.
