Scientifically Accurate Barney Is A Harrowing Watch, Will Force You To Question Your Entire Being.
There's a good reason why Sheryl Stamps Leach is the 478th most famous Dallasite of all-time: The native Dallasite and former school teacher created Barney & Friends, which, from its start in 1992 through the end of its production run in 2010, taught American youths valuable lessons about the concepts of acceptance, sharing and, sure enough, love.
Not to be discounted, though, is the fact that the show also served as something of a modern-day Mickey Mouse Club-like springboard into stardom for at least a couple of other prominent locals — namely Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez, Nos. 3 and 1 on our list of Dallas' 500 most famous folk, respectively.
Perhaps the only entity that could supplant those two in said fame race would be Barney the Dinosaur himself — if, of course, the purple anthropomorphic T-Rex were real.
Or, wait, nevermind. That'd actually be a horrible thing to see happen, as the folks at FXX's Animation Domination High-Def capably point out in the below clip, the latest in its creepily informative and sometimes way too real “Scientifically Accurate” series of clips.
Fair warning before you click play on this video and have all of your preconceived notions of friendly dinosaurs utterly shattered, though: Per usual with the “Scientifically Accurate” series, this Barney-focused clip indeed spends a little time discussing genitalia. And I'm not even sure it's necessarily the worst part.
So, y'know, proceed with caution.
