The adult videos that center around British cabs: Trash or nah? We’re undecided, and this is the debate that opens the podcast — but just briefly, and probably for the better.

We move on quickly from there to recapping a little bit of retro audio where Jake nailed a then-coming cultural moment. On the way there, we have a ton of rumination on predictions and podcast listening patterns at large. Elsewhere in the bag we’re ruffling through is forbidden sex in Alabama and the power currently wielded by the post-millennial teen.

We also have a couple Ranger topics to work through. I want to adjust everyone’s expectations about Rougned Odor from “All-Star” to “just short of All-Star,” which is probably splitting hairs, but here we are. Regardless, we both figure the Rangers are in a stiff competition with the Astros — and one where Houston should be favored.

Also, we spend about 15 minutes on the Panama Papers because that’s how we roll. — TC Fleming
