On Las Vegas, Adulthood and Robots Taking Our Jobs.
If you're a listener of KTCK 1310-AM or 96.7 FM, you probably feel like you already know TC Fleming and Jake Kemp well. And if you're not a listener of The Ticket? Well, whatever. You're about to get real familiar with these two just the same. Wanna hear past episodes? You can check out IJB's archives here and on our Soundcloud page. Wanna subscribe to the podcast on iTunes? This past weekend, Jake became the first member of the podcast to visit Las Vegas. As such, he returns this week with many tales, most of which concern claustrophobic spaces. One of his main takeaways, though, was that he is somehow both too young and too old to enjoy himself there. But he does have a nice suggestion for a cool place to check out dinner. So, y'know, listen for that, plus some thoughts pool parties. (The actual, correct details on this weekend's Central Track-hosted one can be found here).
Listen in, too, to hear our thoughts on what the world would look like if robots took most of our jobs, thus ushering in a post-work world for humanity. Perhaps not like Las Vegas and pool parties, that kind of talk, it definitely up our alley.
