Tiesto Joins The Oddly Impressive H2O Music Festival Bill.
Last month, we passed along word of the H2O Music Festival, the Univision-presented, all-day music festival set to take place at the Cotton Bowl on Saturday, June 9. And we certainly did so with our eyebrows raised. It'd have been tough not to do so, actually, considering that the bill includes such names as Snoop Dogg, Weezer, Damian Marley, Juanes, Gym Class Heroes, Paulino Rubio and so on.
Interestingly, though, over the past few weeks, the lineup has only grown, adding Latino acts such as Intocable, Ramon Ayala and Bobby Pulido to its heavily south-of-the-border flavor. And, today, festival organizers have added perhaps their biggest name to date, announcing the addition of iconic house DJ Tiesto to its list of headline performers. Recently voted the greatest DJ of all-time by Mixmag, Tiesto adds a much-needed European flavor to the bill's largely Western hemisphere-based offerings — not to mention a much-needed EDM injection, considering the genre's massive popularity in the festival circuit of late.
Tickets to the H2O Music Festival are currently on sale and going for anywhere between $30 and $225. Oh, and organizers promise that they're not yet finished adding performers to their lineup. So, yeah, we'll keep an eye on the developments for you.
