Celebrate Local Fashion, Art and Music at Central Track's Next Awesome Party.
If you read this site with even the slightest bit of regularity, you'll notice a recurring theme: Unlike so many other media outlets in town, many of which seem hell-bent on bemoaning a supposed lack of culture in the city, we actually like what's happening here in Dallas. A lot. Hell, we report on it daily, so we'd better.
Really, though, there's a lot to like about what's happening in Dallas these days. From the music to the street fashion to the art — pretty much everything we've been seeing of late has us excited.
And on Saturday, December 8, at Club Dada, we're going to be throwing a little party in celebration of these blossoming cultures.
There will be music: Central Track favorites Zhora, -topic, Neo-Safari and DJ Sober will all perform.
There will be street fashion: Clothes from The Good Child, Loyal KNG and a collaborative effort between the Mentally Ill and Mid-Point will be on display, with plenty of swag up for sale.
There will be art, too: Painter Riley Holloway, street artist Joonbug and multimedia artist Edward Ruiz will all be on hand, crafting their art live for you to watch.
Long story short: Like our past bashes, this one should be a good time. Hopefully, it will be an eye-opening one, too.
One last note: Per request, this event will be open for anyone 18 or older to attend. For the young 'uns, entrance will be $10. For everyone else, it'll be $5.
Definitely coming? Help us gauge the attendance by RSVPing to the event on Facebook. And, if you want to ensure your entrance into the party ahead of time, go buy yourself an advance ticket here.
See you on December 8, y'all.
