Taylor Rea and the gang offer up a dancier version of the Wham! “classic” in this here free offering, which the band debuted at the Double Wide on Saturday night.
DTG – “Classical Rap” [Download]
A brand new hip-hop collective out of North Dallas, DTG released its Take The Throne mixtape back in November, and featured on that promising debut is the infectious and surprisingly fresh “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy”-sampling “Classical Rap,” which the outfit's been kind enough to pass along to Central Track readers here as a free download.
Kirby Brown – “On The East Side” [Stream]
Sometime folkie and sometime rocker Kirby Brown may have have left Dallas for New York a few months back, but that doesn't mean he doesn't still rely on his old pals here in Dallas to help him ply his craft. Brown's special new Christmas single release, “On The East Side,” was produced by Brown's North Texas collaborator Beau Bedford and earns its iTunes release today.
