Flogging Molly and The Devil Makes Three Rock The House of Blues.
It being March and just a few weeks off from St. Patrick's Day, it was no surprise to see famed Celtic punk rockers Flogging Molly in town for a gig at the House of Blues last night.
No, the Los Angeles band's annual tour and its Dallas stop have much become near tradition at this point, as Flogging Molly hits the road every year at this time, bringing their own brand of St., Patrick's Day cheer to the masses, knowing all the while that they simply can't be in every city they're asked to be in on that party-filled holiday.
This year, it's Tempe, Arizona, that gets the honor of hosting Flogging Molly on that special day. With Flogging Molly and their Santa Cruz, California, folk punk brethren The Devil Makes Three in town almost a full two weeks beforehand, Dallas would have to make due with March 4 instead — and do its best to pretend that it was time to drink like it was St. Patty's.
Of course Dallas was up for it.
