The Best Wigs From Elm Street Tattoo’s Wig Party Last Night at The Double Wide.

Tomorrow, you may have realized, is Friday the 13th. In Dallas that means one thing: Starting at midnight tonight, Elm Street Tattoo will offer tattoos featuring the number 13 for the low price of $20 ($13 plus a $7 tip). It’s a marathon session the shop runs; the offer stands for a full 24 hours and the shop’s open the whole time.

It’s tradition in these parts. And though it’s a lesser-known affair, so too is the wig party that precedes each Friday the 13th. Every Wednesday before a Friday the 13th, Elm Street tattooers throw a wig-themed party and aim to stay up as late as they can, all in hopes of skewing their sleep clocks so much that they’ll sleep all day Thursday and be fresh and awake when the calendar turns to Friday.

As such, the Elm Street Tattoo crew and their many friends gathered in wigs for a party at the Double Wide last night. There were wigs aplenty.
