Newest Dallas Mavericks Promo Envisions North Texas As Westeros, All Game of Thrones Intro-Like.
Earlier this month, we told you about The Well Creative Productions, the crew behind, among other things, the Dallas Mavericks' always-awesome viral video clips,
And now we're here to tell you that they've struck gold again.
Just this morning, a new Mavericks video to be used at the start of games found its way onto YouTube, and, if you're even remotely familiar with the opening title sequence for HBO's Game of Thrones, you're gonna dig it. Here, North Texas is envisioned in the same way that the fictional land of Westeros is in that show's intro, with the cities of Fort Worth, Arlington, Frisco and Dallas rising from the earth all gear-like. Even the suburbs get their shout-outs too in the video's eventual run-up to the rise of the American Airlines Center, which the video, in appropriate GoT-speak is referred to as “House of Mavs.”

Game of Thrones, we should note, returns for its fourth season on April 6. Can't wait.
