The Henderson Avenue Pearl Cup Is Handing Out Free Cups of Joe For National Coffee Day on Saturday.

Today, it seems, is National Drink Beer Day, which isn't to be confused with National Beer Day, which lands on April 7. The difference, one assumes, is that today's more about consumption than the simple appreciation and staring-at of suds. Well, OK, there's another difference, too: Tomorrow, turns out, is National Coffee Day, which seems to be a pretty effective follow-up for today's nonsensical food-and-beverage-related holiday, as, when we're hungover and forced to wake up way too early (read: before noon), all we really want is a cup of coffee.

Enter The Pearl Cup's flagship Henderson Avenue location: Tomorrow (Saturday, September 29), coffee fans can walk into the shop any time between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. and, for that simple act alone, they'll receive a free 8-ounce cup of coffee.
