Scenes From Friday Night’s The Party Reunion at Pop That.

We told you enough times in the build-up to Friday night’s Pop That bash at the It’ll Do Club: The fact that we had the mighty Dallas DJ collective The Party reuniting at this affair was kind of a big deal.

And how: Some 800 people showed up and danced their asses off with us as we kicked off the weekend by listening to DJs Nature, Select and Sober spin their first sets together in Dallas in years.

It was a hell of a time, too. Legendary? Not our words, but, hey, we’re not gonna disagree.

It sure was special, we’ll say that. Absolutely. Mostly, though, it just felt right, hearing these three DJs spinning a genre-less mix of classic and new tunes alike as everyone dropped their inhibitions for a few hours in the name of a good time.

Many thanks to DJs Select and Nature for making the trek back here to Dallas to join Sober and us in throwing this bash. Many thanks to Sobes’ Booty Fade collaborator, Picnictyme, for holding down the hosting duties. And, most of all, thanks to every single one of you that made it out on Friday. It wouldn’t have been the memorable throwdown that it was without y’all there, rocking with us.
