Chill Out With Poolside and A Few Other Summer Delights.

The beginning of summer is never quite conducive to new musical output. But that dry spell seems to have passed. The web has been on fire with a slew of truly great songs in recent weeks.

So, to that end, we're bringing you this week some choice music selections, ranging from perfect pop to club stompers.

You'll want to rock these all summer long, we promise. As always, all of these links are free downloads, but you really should go ahead and explore these artists' other releases, too.

Ahh, Poolside. Their name conjures images of listless days under cloudless skies. So does their sound.

Erika Spring is part of Au Revoir Simone, and all voice. “Hidden” is a gorgeous display of her natural talent.

Little Boots — “Headphones (Todd Edwards Vocal Mix)”
What would summer be without the songs that absolutely light up the dance floor of your next party? Enter Todd Edwards' remix of “Headphones.”

AlunaGeorge — “Put Your Hands Up (N55 Hi Emotions Remix)”
The duo behind British electronica outfit AlunaGeorge is currently experiencing a rapid rise in recognition. Their single “Put Your Hands Up” gets an emotional, breakbeat-driven remix here.
