Dallas' Own 21-Year-Old Jordan Spieth Is The Hottest Thing In Golf.

The World Rankings may currently place him as the No.4 golfer in the world, but, make no mistake, at the time of this writing, there is no bigger star in the golf world than Dallas' own 21-year-old phenom, Jordan Spieth.

Spieth, who may or may not have been but probably wasn't in diapers when Tiger Woods took home his first major championship victory at Augusta National in 1997, is currently sitting at 11 under par through 26 holes in the 2015 Masters.

He's five stokes up on his competition, his opening day 64 was just one off the tournament's single-day scoring record, he left the course yesterday as the youngest first-round leader in the tournament's 81-year history and he's on pace to possibly finish up today with this storied tournament's record 36-hole low.

Put simply: Dude's straight balling right now.

He's killing it with his irons…

…and he's killing it with his putter, too.

I wish I could find some audio to encapsulate the sheer amount of slobbering that the tournament's broadcast announcers did over Spieth's opening round-performance yesterday, but I can't, so just know this: It was borderline pornographic to hear these old men describe Spieth's game.

Only, see, it's all a little justified. Spieth's golf game knows no weakness. His ceiling is massive. We're watching the hometown kid turn into something special right now. Tune in.
