Snow Tha Product Slams Other Female Emcees On Latest Teaser For Her New Mixtape.
Atalntic Records-signed, Fort Worth-based femcee Snow Tha Product has been getting all sorts of local love of late (not the least of which include a June cover for the Dallas Observer and a headlining spot at Dada at this month's Dallas Observer Music Awards showcase), but it finally appears as if there's a reason for it: Yesterday evening, her publicity team sent out a new track called “Cookie Cutter Bitches” to tease her due-out-December-12 mixtape, Good Nights & Bad Mornings.
And, uh, the track's not exactly a shy one.
No, the new track from the one-time YouTube sensation makes no bones about it: The quick-spitting Snow's a proud rapper and thinks all of her fellow female rappers are just, as the song's title suggest, “cookie cutter bitches.”
Meaning? Shame on those of you who call her a Kreayshawn biter; it's totally the other way around — according to this song, at least.
And, hey, it's a solid track, too — not as fiery as the earlier-teased Good Nights & Bad Morning track “Hola” but certainly a bolder effort, if only thematically.
Still, the important thing here is that we're finally hearing actual tracks from the promising North Texas product. Or as Internet rap hub 2DopeBoyz wrote in their post about the track literally moments after it was shipped out: “Instead of YouTube previews we actually get a new track from Snow.”
Indeed, that is likely the takeaway here. Still, scope it below if you're still not hip to this buzzing name that you're bound to hear more of in the weeks, months and — potentially — years to come.
