Here He Goes Again: Dave Chappelle Just Announced Two Dallas Shows at the House of Blues This Month.
We should be used to this, I suppose.
Two years ago, Dave Chappelle did pretty much the same thing he's doing now, throwing the whole town into a tizzy when by announcing a show on short notice. Of course, whereas that one would go on the very next day, Chappelle is today giving us all a little more warning, letting us know a whole 11 days in advance about his upcoming two-show offering on Monday, December 15, at the House of Blues.
He's not giving us much of a warning before tickets to those scheduled 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. shows at the House of Blues go on sale, though: Those suckers, which will run $57.45 to $68.54 after fees, will start going up for purchase in just about an hour, right at 6 o'clock.
Get your tickets to the early show here and to the late show here.
Update: Chappelle's added two more shows to his Dallas trip. They'l go down on Tuesday, December 16. Same times, same location. Get your tickets here.
These shows, of course, will mark Chappelle's third time through Dallas in as many years: After that surprise return to town in 2012 (check out a bootleg of that show's audio here), he came through town again last year as the headliner for Funny or Die's inaugural Oddball comedy tour
Still, at the very least, Chappelle's probably the greatest comedian of the '00s. So don't act like your interest isn't piqued.
