Centro-matic Adds a Stop At Dallas' Kessler Theater To Its Farewell Tour. Better Act Quick.
First things first: Centro-matic has added a Dallas show to its run of farewell tour dates this winter.
The show — which went on sale here just now — will go down December 2 at the Kessler Theater.
It's good news, to be sure. Still, you better act quickly if you want to catch the band when it performs in Dallas for the last time ever.
To wit: The band's frontman, Will Johnson, announced the rest of Centro-matic's farewell tour on the band's website on September 21; the band then began selling tickets to that run of shows on the 22nd; and then the band watched as both of its final two shows at Dan's Silverleaf sold out that same day — before many folks had even caught wind of the band's impending split.
Given a few weeks to digest that info — and to commiserate on social media about tickets to those Denton shows going so fast — you can bet that this one, too, will sell out in short order, and likely before the end of the day.
As far as other information? The opening act has yet to be confirmed, as a representative from the Kessler tells us the show was only officially confirmed yesterday. If we were you, though, we wouldn't wait for that info. Like we've said a few times already, this one's going to sell out quick.
Standing room tickets to the show are $16, with reserved tickets in the venue's balcony going for $24. Get 'em here.
