Check Out The Trailer For The Locally Set Dallas Buyers Club Starring Matthew McConaughey.

Well, it's here: Just about a week after we first laid our eyes on the trailer for Tom Hanks' JFK assassination-focused Parkland, we're now being treated to the trailer for the other movie set in Dallas and coming out in the next few months.

You may have heard of this one: It's called Dallas Buyers Club and it stars Jennifer Garner, Jared Leto and, in the lead role, Matthew McConaughey, who is already earning Oscar buzz for having dropped some 50 pounds to play the part of real-life AIDS victim Ron Woodruff. The trailer below capably shows the focus of the true story portrayed in the film, which is set to earn a wide release on December 6.

What it doesn't show is that, like Parkland, which was mostly filmed in Austin despite being set here, Dallas Buyers Club was also shot elsewhere, in this case in New Orleans.
