Our Favorite Sports Photos of 2013.
There's no shortage of phenomenal publications that cover our region's many sports happenings. And, when taking a step back and looking at these entities as a whole, we know that Central Track probably doesn't rate too highly on that list.
C'mon. We're not that dumb and/or big-headed.
But, over the course of this past year, we covered sports all the same — and took our own coverage more seriously than we ever had previously — all in an attempt to give some shine to the area sports programs and happenings that maybe weren't receiving the attention they deserved elsewhere.
Be it through our region's many collegiate programs or more outsider-oriented affairs such as motocross competitions and female football teams, we aimed to capture a different side of the North Texas sports world in 2013.
It was a fun experiment — and one we plan to expand upon in the coming year.
