Reunion Park’s New aTrolla Music Festival Sets Its Sights On Your Mom, Other People Too Old For This Music Fest Bullshit.
Music festivals are, by their very nature, a young person’s game. And, to that end, there are indeed times when we, much like the author of this Vice article, have also felt way too old for the marathon concerts — even before we turned 30.
But Dallas’ newest festival is flying in the face of that logic.
Like the super-successful Weezer-headlined The Reunion festival and the March Madness Music Festival before it, the aTrolla Music Festival will be taking over the park where Reunion Arena once stood for a multi-stage affair on Saturday, May 6. But, unlike those other deals, this one will be bringing a decidedly mom-friendly lineup to the field that sits under the shadow of Reunion Tower, by offering up Peter Cetera and KC & the Sunshine Band as its headliners.
Per its official site, aTrolla is a celebration of “the very best of the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s music scenes.” It also promises “multiple stages, attractions and plenty of high-end food or drink options.” Tickets start at $79 apiece right here.
That might sound like a lot to you, but consider your mom’s pension plan!
