Nine-Year-Old Mike Miles Will Break Your Ankles.
We're a couple weeks behind on this story, but it bears repeating nonetheless: Dallas native Mike Miles (not the newly hired DISD superintendent of the same name) is one hell of a basketball player. The nine-year-old baller is already considered a blue chip recruit. For the class 2021.
People say he's the next Allen Iverson, which we can only assume means he'll soon feel ambivalent about practices. Since every nine-year-old we've ever met actually enjoys practicing, we think Miles is more along the lines of a young Tim Hardway. Seriously, give his mean crossover a look in the video at the end of this post.
Then dream of the days when the hometown hero becomes an NBA free agent in 2024 and publicly flirts with the idea of signing a long-term deal with the Mavs only to sign, instead, with the Brooklyn Nets. (Yes, that's a Deron Williams reference.)
