KXT Announces 2013 Summer Cut Lineup Featuring Avett Brothers, Matt & Kim, Grace Potter and More
Earlier this week, KXT released a teaser video to the Internet to get everyone all excited about today's lineup announcement for the 2013 version of their now-annual Summer Cut affair. Full disclosure: I was in that video. So, too, was Dirk Nowitzki because he and I are on similar fame levels.
But, really, Dirk's inclusion in this video should've been a dead giveaway as far as at least one of the band's inclusion in this year's festival is concerned. That's right: Noted Dirk pals the Avett Brothers will be headlining this year's affair, which will take place on Saturday, June 1, at Gexa Energy Pavilion, the same place it went down last year when the Flaming Lips headlined.
Joining the Avetts at this second go: Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Matt & Kim, Dawes, Hayes Carll and Milo Greene, plus area favorites RTB2, The Orbans, Oil Boom, The Roomsounds and Fate Lions. Plus, we have it on authority that more bands will be added in the future, too.
Pretty darn impressive stuff, KXT. Pretty darn impressive, indeed.
