The People of Lights All Night ’14.

OK, yes, there were plenty of eyeroll-inducing outfits at Lights All Night ’14 this weekend. But let’s not act like everyone there was dressed like a neon fairy. Because they weren’t.

Rather, this year’s festival attendees were a pretty wide-ranging bunch. But, far more important, they were a happy, kind and warm (disposition-wise, at least) one. Knock EDM culture all you want, but it’s by and large an inviting, communal one. And that spirit truly reigned supreme at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center this weekend.
