Last night kicked off the first 2020 Democratic Presidential Debate and it was … interesting. Or should we say, interesante. The debate not only served as a platform for candidates to discuss their policy proposals, but also to flex their bilingualism, apparently?

Much to the visible bewilderment of New Jersey Senator Cory Booker, Texas’ own Beto O’Rourke dodged half of his first question of the night from NBC’s Savannah Guthrie by answering partially in Spanish.

With one look, the New Jersey senator summarized our feelings about the entire debate.

The rest of the candidates are probably on Duolingo right now.

In honor of that, we thought we would bring you a list of things to do in Dallas this weekend, but in Spanish. Just kidding. — Stephanie Salas-Vega
