There are tons of cool events and things going on just about everywhere you look these next few days. So, for this week’s date, we’re jumping on a bike and exploring them all — an ice cream stop included.

Bike Rentals at Local Hub (2633 Main Street, Suite 130, Dallas). It’s been years since I’ve ridden a bike, but with things slowly cooling down I was excited to find out the kind folks at Local Hub Bicycle Company do rentals! Take a ride through Deep Ellum, checking out things like 42 Murals project, stopping by the events happening as part of Reimagine Crowdus, hitting up some bars, restaurants and vintage shops, doing some people watching and just having an all-around good ol’ time.

Anyone that’s eaten at the original Monkey King restaurants know that these guys are way serious about their food being both fresh and homemade, and that applies to their new dessert stand, too. From Almond Cookies ‘n Cream ice cream with hand-crumbled cookies, to freshly baked pineapple tarts and cheesecake soufflés, they’ll give you the sugar rush to keep on riding.
