As you’ve probably heard, Rave of Thrones is coming – and, more specifically, it’s coming to Dallas this Saturday.

Time to head to Deep Ellum and dance your nerdy heart out!

Stop No. 1: BrainDead Brewing 92625 Main Street, Dallas). Everyone knows you need good food to fuel a good night, and Deep Ellum is full of it. Take my advice and find cheap parking, then walk on over to BrainDead Brewery for a burger that will knock your socks off, especially when paired with some of the best local brews around. Don’t forget the queso, either, as it’s one of the best things on the menu. You can chill out and relax because you’ve taken care of parking and just have a super short walk right over to The Bomb Factory once you’re ready to get down.

 

Rave of Thrones at The Bomb Factory (2713 Canton Street, Dallas, TX 75204). DJ Kristian Nairn, aka the guy that played Hodor on Game of Thrones, aka the most recent reason I cried during a TV show, is no gimmick. He was a DJ before he Hodor-ed his way to our hearts, and he’ll be one for long after. He puts on a good party, and with the organizers encouraging attendees to cosplay for it, it’s sure to be a spectacle even if your S.O. isn’t necessarily a native of Westeros — er, um, a fan of the show. Anyone can appreciate a good dance party in one of the best venues around, right? Right.
