It’s a scenario with which we’re all a little too familiar at some point in our lives: The rent’s due, your paycheck hasn’t cleared yet and you just can’t bring yourself to open up the cupboard and make yourself another goddamn peanut butter and jelly sandwich for the third meal in a row. And, no, a 25-cent ramen packet ain’t what you’re looking for either.
Budgeting for food can be tough thing, folks. Along with rent, it’s where the majority of our hard-earned money goes. But, listen, penny-pinching doesn’t mean you can’t treat yourself to a good meal from time to time — not here in Dallas, at least, where plenty of local restaurants offer discounted food offerings during off-nights or off hours as a means of keeping butts in the seats.
The trick is simply knowing who’s what deals going on which nights.
That’s where we come in. As we’ve repeatedly done before, we present to you here just that info.
Below, scope our list of Dallas restaurants that are willing to cut you a break on decent food from time to time. Is this list 100 percent complete? Frankly, we doubt it — not all restaurants necessarily want this information blasted all across the world. But, hey, it’s still fairly comprehensive. And it’ll cover your ass every night of the week.
