Think Apink.
Many will argue these days that people no longer read. That might apply to books, maybe, but people definitely do still read, like all day every day. It's just that the Internet has changed the way people read, in that we mostly read texts, tweets and web pages as opposed to sitting down and cozying up with a lengthy novel.
Much in that same way, we here at this very specific corner of the Internet hope to change how folks in North Texas spend their evenings. One of the ways we're doing this is by putting together lists like the one below on the daily. — Cory Graves
Apink at Verizon Theatre
K-Pop girl group, Apink, hits Dallas on its four-city North American tour. It's the first time the Korean sensations will perform in America, and the first U.S. trip for a K-Pop girl group since 2NE1 did it in 2012. — CG
War Club Wednesdays at RBC
Blue, the Misfit's wildly fun DJ night., War Club Wednesday has a new home — RBC in Deep Ellum on Commerce St. It's the same ol thing in a bit of a bigger space. In the beginning, relive some of your favorite cold school cuts, as the night wears on, it'll get a little more modern and sweaty, as it should when it's so lit. — H. Drew Blackburn

Charles, Larry g(EE) and, once upon a time, Leon Bridges, the Texas Gentlemen is one of the tightest and most diverse crew of young working musicians in Dallas.
