Stop No. 1: Dallas Farmers Market (1010 South Pearl Expressway). Everything seems to be dying and withering away as winter approaches, but your love life doesn't have to do so as well. Instead, do like the Dallas Farmer's Market is doing and expand your horizons this weekend by attending the grand opening weekend of their remodeled concept. It's double the size and double the healthy, wholesome fun. That's how it goes, right? But, real talk, it's more than just fresh veggies and fruit. They've added dozens of new vendors ranging from Taqueria La Ventana to an antique store or two. Stop and smell the candles, learn about the produce from the farmers that grew it and feel bad about the McDonald's you ate at 2 a.m on your way home the night before.

Stop No. 2: Double Wide (3510 Commerce Street). I bet you thought we were going to skip the actual food. PSYCH! It's Sunday, and Sundays are meant for breakfast food. Thing is, nothing will put a damper on your date like asking someone to get up and be ready by nine. So be wise and go for brunch instead. Even better, go for late brunch. The Double Wide gods have blessed us with theirs, which starts at 1 p.m. and features oh-so-delicious breakfast tacos from Good 2 Go Taco. Chow down, then wash that all down and undo your healthy picks from the market with the bar's classic drinks, including their answer to the White Russian, The Yoohoo Yeehaw. It's a chilled frosty drink, but you can enjoy it any season. If that's too cold for you, opt for my personal favorite, The Twisted Tang.
