Monkey King Moves Inside and Slow Bone's Handing Out Free Thanksgiving Meals To The Whole City.

Also: Good thing, because this is Dallas and this town always has breaking restaurant news going down like whoa.

Good news for fans of Monkey King Noodle Co.: The Deep Ellum walk-up is opening a real deal, dine-in brick and mortar. Expansion plans include a larger kitchen, new menu items and, more importantly, indoor seating and bathrooms, according to Eater Dallas. The restaurant will keep to its Main Street roots, moving just across the street from AllGood Cafe. Once that happens, the owners say they plan to convert their original space into an Asian-influenced dessert spot. Look for an opening in spring 2016.

Moving forward, a new spot from chef Graham Dodds (Hibiscus) called Wayward Sons is set to hit Greenville Avenue on Monday, December 7. Per the official press release: “The restaurant will prove to be a progression of chef Dodd's hyper focus on local, seasonal and Texas cuisine.” The menu includes items like buttermilk biscuits with mum's preserves, smoked lamb brisket and wild mushroom tamales, in addition to house cocktails and “mostly” local beers. Hours will run daily from 4 p.m. until midnight, with weekend brunch to be added in the spring.

Over on Oak Lawn, the neighborhood says goodbye to two of its newer concepts, as Kin Kin Urban Thai and Le Taco each call it quits. Meanwhile chef Eddy Thretipthuangsin has plans to relocate his shuttered Fort Worth concept BITE to Oak Lawn, says Eater. And Le Taco, which was once Scotch & Sausage, is set to become a nightclub, according to CraveDFW.

Speaking of changes, the news broke this week on what's to become of the at least half of the soon-to-be-shuttered Hailey's Club space. Per Guidelive's sleuths, it'll be turned into a “barcade.”

On the Thanksgiving front, if you know anyone in need of some turkey on the holiday Slow Bone Barbecue is once again serving a free Thanksgiving dinner to anyone in Dallas who wants it. The meal — known colloquially as Freebird 2015 — features collaborative efforts from Hutchins BBQ, Lockhart Smokehouse, Cafe Momentum and Empire Baking Co.

Also in on the Thanksgiving wire, this is the last week for Easy Slider's slider of the month, The Gobbler. The holiday-inspired dish features turkey, cornbread dressing, gravy and cranberry-jalapeño-pecan relish, and it's topped with a miniature pecan pie. Get it while you can.

In craft beer news: Future Deep Ellum watering hole Dot's Hop House & Cocktail Courtyard is showing some signs of life with the unveiling of its new logo. The design is the first post to surface on the bar and restaurant's Facebook since the news of its inception back in July.

Meanwhile, Lakewood Growler is hosting its second annual Black Friday event, where half of its taps will be dedicated to dark beers for the day, including barrel aged stouts, black IPAs and other kegs saved for the occasion. The event takes place on Friday, November 27, starting at noon.

Finally, Taps & Caps Lewisville is celebrating its first anniversary with a week's worth of events starting Sunday, November 29. The week starts off with a tapping of 903's Balcones Barrel-Aged Sasquatch, (512)'s Whiskey Barrel-Aged Double Pecan Porter and Karbach's Trigavé. The event starts at 4 p.m.
