Are You Ready For Wrestlemania 32, Brother?!?!
Welcome to Out In These Streets, wherein we pound the regional pavement to get the average Dallasite's perspective on the most interesting happenings in town.
It's gonna be a slobberknocker when Wrestlemania rolls through town this spring, brother. Oh, yes. Oh, yes. Because it's more than just the Granddady of Them All itself that the WWE will be bringing with it come the ides of April: There will also be fan expos, Hall of Fame inductions and, well, just all sorts of ancillary events going on across the region.
And, in part because this area boasts an impeccable history of wrestling greatness, fans are expecting big, big things to go down at the fast-approaching event.
Namely? They're anticipating it to be the biggest Wrestlemania ever, at least as attendance figures go. The WWE and AT&T Stadium are expecting to cram well more than 100,000 wrestling fans into the confines of the Arlington stadium for the big event itself on Sunday, April 3.
First, though, they just celebrated the fact that tickets were even officially on sale, and they did so by opening up AT&T Stadium for a free event featuring appearances from WWE legends and matches from NXT up-and-comers.
Naturally, we hit that event up ourselves to gauge the hype from the local wrestling fan community. So: Are people stoked? Uh, does a can of whoop-ass get opened?!?!?!
