Bad News Boys at Dada
Last Halloween, The King Khan & BBQ Show played its final show under that moniker, subsequently adopting the Bad News Boys name and releasing a new LP under the name earlier this year. The move Mark “BBQ” Sultan told us last year is a move on the duo's part to show some maturity on its part. It's true, the pair no longer drinks urine onstage, sets bars aflame or resorts to any of the other drunken antics that made them so loved by fans and hated by club owners. There's not a lot of info on the web about the human behind Slow Magic, and that's totally by design. Dude has previously said he dons masks onstage because he'd would much rather people focus on the catchy-as-fuck synth pop he creates rather than who is responsible for it. Fair enough. Bar Politics Gets Polluted at The Rustic
