It's A Fish Fight!

This week, Gmail is introducing a new smart reply feature that'll help generate automatic replies to the loads of unanswered emails in your inbox. What a timesaver!

According to a 2012 study, workers spend up to a quarter of their days replying to emails. Which stands to reason you're about to find yourself with approximately 25 percent more free time on your hands.

Fortunately, we've found a few ways for you to spend that. — Cory Graves

Bad News Boys at Dada
Last Halloween, The King Khan & BBQ Show played its final show under that moniker, subsequently adopting the Bad News Boys name and releasing a new LP under the name earlier this year. The move Mark “BBQ” Sultan told us last year is a move on the duo's part to show some maturity on its part. It's true, the pair no longer drinks urine onstage, sets bars aflame or resorts to any of the other drunken antics that made them so loved by fans and hated by club owners. Milk Lines and Sailor Poon open. — CG

The Menzingers at The Prophet Bar
Hardcore punks, The Menzingers, hail from Scranton, Pennsylvania, so we recommend barraging them with as many references to The Office as you can tonight. You'll totally be the first person to ever do that, we promise. mewithoutYou, Pianos Become the Teeth and Restoraitons open. — CG

Slow Magic, Giraffage at Trees
There's not a lot of info on the web about the human behind Slow Magic, and that's totally by design. Dude has previously said he dons masks onstage because he'd would much rather people focus on the catchy-as-fuck synth pop he creates rather than who is responsible for it. Fair enough. Giraffage co-headlines this one, and Daktyl opens. — CG

Tower of Power at Majestic Theatre
Funky '60s jazz-funk outfit Tower of Power brings the soul with a capital “S.” The band's powerful horn section has also been featured on records by Huey Lewis, Elton John, Phish, Aerosmith, Rod Stewart and a ton of others, too. What is hip? They, my friends, are hip. — CG

Bar Politics Gets Polluted at The Rustic
Bar Politics, is Dallas' own hyper-local version of The Daily Show, with booze added to the mix. Dallas conservationist Ben Sandifer will make an appearance at this pollution-themed edition of the show, along with a musical performance from Jacob Metcalf. — H. Drew Blackburn

The Toasters at Three Links
If you were excited at the possibility of attending a kitchen appliance convention at Three Links tonight, you will be disappointed to learn that it is not actual toasters that will be there tonight, but long-running third wave ska act The Toasters. If, however, you are a huge fan of ska music, then get excited and check out this show, because there's gonna be a lot of it. monkeysphere, The Brokes and Boss Riot also perform. — Trace McCaslin

Metropolitan at Texas Theatre
In his first outing director/producer/screenwriter Whit Stillman earned an Oscar nom for his Metropolitan screenplay. He'll be in attendance at this 25th anniversary screning. P cool. — CG
