Don't Forget the Joker.

As much as we've come to depend on our phones for just about everything these days, there's still a few things they can't do. When it comes to actually making us happy, there's been evidence that's just something phones aren't capable of.

According to a new study published in Computers in Human Behavior looking at a smart phone during times of depression actually greatly exacerbates the problem. One of the reasons being the way being locked into one's phone severely isolates one from human interaction.

The solution, say the authors of the study? To get out more and be around other people. Communicating with others face to face, they say, is one of nature's best cures for the blues. To that end, there's no shortage of places to mix and mingle around town this week.
