I was really hyped for American Ultra, you guys.

Unfortunately, the movie tuned out to be something short of what it could’ve been in my eyes — even if this week's guest, my old pal Justin Bell, thought it lived up to his expectations.

I guess I just had such high hopes for this one because it stars Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart, who were amazing together in Adventureland, which is one of my top personal favorites. They were just about as good here as they were there, but several other things brought this one down.

Still, it's fun to discuss why it fell short — and fun to remember why Adventureland is so great.
